Latest Show: LFR Show 8
There’s nothing like freshly brewed coffee and a Turkish wedding to get you in the mood for our latest Flint Flake show! Join us as we feast on a meze platter of delectable flakes – but a word to the wise – avoid the nibbles marked “Jokes by Andie”. And for those who may be wondering what was so hilarious about Hilaria or, indeed, what cheerfulness had to do with gynaecology, you can find out a little more here.
On the menu:
1. In “What are you reading this week”, Cliff continues with the fifth and final part of his review of the book “The Occult Philosophy of the Elizabethan Age” by Frances Yates. Cliff discusses John Dee; advisor to Elizabeth I, mathematician, astrologer, astronomer and occultist.
2. GK’s Greek Spot focuses on imperatives. Don’t miss it!
3. Andie’s reading from Eusebius in his “History of the Church from Christ to Constantine”, is taken from an excerpt by Hegisippus who discusses the origin of false prophets and false teachings in the early church.
4. Finally, we believe you will find “Crusy’s Discernment Corner” a great encouragement and a reminder of the hope we have in Jesus.
Bon Appétit! And yes, that’s imperative!
